Dr. Alyssa Ball

Dr. Alyssa Ball is originally from Colorado. She received her MS and DVM degrees from Colorado State University in 2019. During vet school, her MS research focused on the genetic modification of equine stem cells as a potential “off-the-shelf” treatment for fracture repair in the horse. Following veterinary school she completed an internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma with Dr. Philipp. She then completed an additional internship and 6 months of surgery specific training at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. In December 2022, Dr. Ball will complete her Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine certification in equine acupuncture. Her professional interests include lameness and rehabilitation, degenerative musculoskeletal diseases, regenerative therapies, ophthalmology and neonatology. 

Outside of the clinic Alyssa enjoys running, cycling, yoga, and spending time with her family and two precious dogs.
