Janelle grew up in Gaylord Minnesota and came down to Cedar Rapids in 2009. She attended Kirkwood Community College and graduated in 2011 with a Horse Science degree, and then went on to obtain her Exercise Science degree from Kirkwood in 2024. Janelle enjoys going on walks and hikes with her four blue heelers, going duck and pheasant hunting,  being outdoors, riding her horses and going to CrossFit.
