Liz grew up in North Dakota and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Equine from North Dakota State University, where she enjoyed competing on their Western and Hunt IHSA teams. After graduation Liz and her husband, Darren moved to Cedar Rapids where she served as the Center Coordinator and later moved into the role of the Manager of Kirkwood Community College’s Iowa Equestrian Center. Liz is currently pursuing her MBA with an emphasis in Leadership at the University of Iowa, and in her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, dog, and horses.
